Das Team der TURBA Factory begr\u00fc\u00dft Sie zu einem kurzen, intensiven Einf\u00fchrungsworkshop, bei dem die grundlegenden Prinzipien der Arbeit mit Gips als Formmaterial von unserem Gie\u00dftechniker Alan Horsley vorgestellt werden.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Diese Sitzung wird die folgenden Schl\u00fcsselpunkte umfassen:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gips als Material: Wir beginnen mit kurzen \u00dcbungen, um ein Gef\u00fchl f\u00fcr die Arbeitseigenschaften von Gips zu entwickeln und wie diese bei Bedarf angewendet oder modifiziert werden k\u00f6nnen, um unterschiedliche Ergebnisse zu erzielen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Grundlagen der Formplanung: Anhand einiger einfacher Formungsprobleme werden wir veranschaulichen, wie man Abl\u00f6sewinkel identifiziert, Trennlinien festlegt und sicherstellt, dass Formen ohne Probleme ge\u00f6ffnet, geschlossen und verwendet werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kleines illustratives Projekt: Schrittweise arbeiten wir mit einem vorbereiteten Objekt und wenden die Konzepte auf die Erstellung einer einfachen mehrteiligen Gipsform an.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bitte beachten Sie, dass dieser Workshop nicht f\u00fcr die Herstellung gr\u00f6\u00dferer Projekte gedacht ist. Stattdessen bietet er eine Einf\u00fchrung in grundlegende Konzepte, die es Ihnen erm\u00f6glichen, eigenst\u00e4ndig mit Gipsformen zu arbeiten, und informiert \u00fcber eine effektivere Anwendung anderer Formmaterialien wie Silikone und GFK.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Horsley ist ein professioneller Gie\u00dftechniker mit \u00fcber zehn Jahren Erfahrung im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich, Italien und Deutschland. Er erstellt Formen f\u00fcr Keramiker, Bildhauer, Innenarchitekten und im Bereich des Glasgie\u00dfens. Neben der Verwendung zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Materialien und Prozesse, darunter 3D-Scannen und CAM zur Erstellung von Formen komplexer Objekte, forscht Alan weiterhin an traditionellen Methoden wie Gipsst\u00fcckformen, da sie auch heute noch Einblicke in Projekte bieten.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Plaster mould-making workshop on 12\/09\/23 – 4 hours, TURBA Factory<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The TURBA factory team welcomes you to a short, intensive introductory workshop where the core principles of working with plaster as a moulding material will be presented by our casting technician Alan Horsley.<\/span><\/p>\n

This session will include the following key points:<\/span><\/p>\n

Plaster as a material: We will begin with short exercises to develop a feel for the working properties of plaster and how these can be applied or modified where necessary to achieve different results.<\/span><\/p>\n

Foundations of mould planning: Through some simple moulding problems we will illustrate how to identify release angles, establish parting lines and ensure that moulds can be opened, closed and used without problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Small illustrative project: Working step-by-step with a prepared object, we will apply the concepts to the creation of a simple multi-part plaster mould.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that this workshop is not intended for producing larger projects \u2013 instead it offers an introduction to fundamental concepts which can both enable you to begin plaster moulding projects independently and inform a more effective application of other moulding materials such as silicones and GFK.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Horsley is a professional casting technician with over ten years experience in the UK, Italy and Germany, building moulds for ceramicists, sculptors, interior designers and the field of glass casting. In addition to using contemporary materials and processes including 3D scanning and CAM to create moulds of complex objects, Alan continues to research more traditional methods such as plaster piece-moulds for the insights they continue to offer to projects today.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participation fee is 8 \u20ac. This fee covers the cost of materials.<\/span><\/p>\n
