In a constructed reality, the reality formed is ultimately always the result of input and processing. Questioning the authenticity of what is experienced, the truth of what is told, the transferability of what is experienced are discursive objects with which the artists take up space. Here, in a seemingly easy-to-consume form, thresholds of irritation are sublimely sounded out, which make our own triggers present to us without judging or explaining them. Far from the didactic, the artists encourage us to observe our own perception in a reality that is shifting into the unreal and to develop joy in our own self-knowledge. Or to formulate it as questions: If, according to Humboldt, nature must be felt, does culture still need a real encounter at all? Is it possible to experience something that does not exist?
